Etude House | Any Cushion Review

Hi guys! As you all may already know, I am a Korean skincare & cosmetic junkie. Trying any new K-product always definitely gives me an adrenaline rush LOL!
In line with that, this review is about Etude House's Precious Mineral BB Any Cushion - the first ever BB cushion that I've tried! I received it from Etude House Singapore last month and I was really excited to give this a try because I heard a lot of positive and negative reviews about this product. I really wanted to find out how it works for my skin, and I also heard from Michelle Phan that almost nobody's using the BB and CC creams from the tube anymore. It's all about the cushion compact!
First, I'll talk about the packaging. It's quite simple looking compared to other brands which colourful in design, but I really like this one coz it is sleek, simple, yet elegant too. It has a mirror in it as well so I can use it for a touch up on the go, and also comes with a refill. The scent is really light and smells like baby powder.
The first time that I applied it was during the day. To be honest, it was not so good, I felt like it didn't really cover up some dark areas on my face. It maybe though it's because the shade is too close to my skin tone since I have the "natural" shade version. I also noticed that its a bit too oily and very shiny looking after 2-3 hours of use.
I don't wanna throw or discontinue using the product and I thought it would be a waste because I have 3 more refill packs, so I tried it again, this time layering it as my last makeup base.
On a clean face, after applying toner, I then use my usual cream, the Pond's BB Cream in Light shade. Then I apply Maybelline Age Miracle concealer around the corner of my eye. Then I pad this BB Any Cushion.
In an instant, this product makes it seem flawlessly perfect and, unbelievably, even stays during the heat of the day (we have a very hot summer in Dubai this year). It looks so natural and it matches nicely with my skin tone! I was very happy to see that it stayed on my face without the need for any touch ups.
