Hi everyone! This Pink October, I partnered with Nine West to spread the word and support the Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Last Friday, I spent my day at Nine West, in the Dubai Mall, to learn more about their campaign and to support Pink October. Basically, you can contribute and help raise awareness towards breast cancer by purchasing this lovely pink pin for only 20 aed. All the money from the pins sold will be donated to The Pink Caravan - a pan-UAE Breast cancer awareness & screening campaign, and initiatives of Friends of Cancer Patients.
Last Saturday, I spent my afternoon at the Pink Caravan event which was held at Jumeirah Beach Road, Rimal Sector.
They had free checkups (screening), awareness events, and a lot of fun activities!
I really wanted to go for a screening but I was having painful dysmenorrhea and period during the day so I was unable to undergo it :(
*Pink Caravan’s mission is to spread awareness about the importance of self breast examination and to provide access to clinical breast examinations, mammography, and further breast cancer screening investigation for women and men within the UAE community.
